In the future all things will be NFTs. Gary Vee is well ahead of the curve in making that happen. To accelerate adoption, Gary Vaynerchuck has created a new consultancy called VaynerNFT and signed Budweiser up as his first flagship client. Vee has already made massive waves this year by investing in and promoting NFT communities but his biggest win before this was the creation and distribution of VeeFriends Utility NFTs and the announcement of VeeCon. The project was a massive success and the floor on the NFTs has nearly gone up 5x.
This project is very different. Most companies are looking into Non Fungible Tokens in some capacity. From High Tech companies like Nintendo and Epic Games to mega-clothing lines like Gucci, NFTs are taking center stage. As B2C companies explore new ways to interact with their fans and customers, NFTs provide limitless potential.
In the campaignlive announcement Gary discussed the challenges many brands are going to face if they want to pursue NFTs as a medium.
Still, for most brands, NFTs are very much still in the hype phase. Just 5% to 10% of brands are “heavily intrigued,” Vaynerchuk said, including AB InBev. “There’s probably five to seven other brands that have the executives and culture to do something about it. 2021 will be about those five brands, but in 2022, you’ll see a lot more people enter as this gets validation.”
