Grimes Breaks NFT Record with Sunday NFT Open Edition Drop

Grimes has a $5million NFT Drop

The Artist and Musician Grimes sold 303 Editions of her NFT Earth and 388 Editions of NFT Mars for a total of 691 NFTs printed in the open edition sunday afternoon.  The results of this sale totaled $5,218,500. BEFORE the close of her other auctions.  The collaboration Warnymph was a realization of a vision and supported by collaborator and NFT expert Mac Boucher. The description of the NFT is as follows:

The first of her kind, WarNymph is a digital entity spliced from a pixel DNA of the organic human, Grimes. Merging the raw images of a photogrammetry scan, enunciating her iconic tattoos, with a retopologized mesh that was sculpted, modelled, and morphed into a variety of forms before being permanently sealed into the body of a baby angel, a cherub. She exists in the liminal state of the virtual world, a Grimes narrative universe, within an alternate history of mythology and the infinite fragments of the future. She is a pioneer in the rapidly expanding metaverse.

We knew this would be a big deal but we didnt realize what a big impression she would leave in the NFT space.
