Refinable x LABS: Fractionalized Real Estate Investment

Refinable (invested by Binance and Mr. Beast) is the first NFT marketplace on the Binance Smart Chain that was created to “empowering both individual creators and beloved brands to easily and affordably create, discover, trade, and leverage NFTs.”

The project was just announced as a partnership with LABS Group to bring fractionalized real-estate investing into the mainstream.

Easy Flow out of Fiat and into Real Estate

This is an interesting use case for investment. Traditional investors tend to flock toward investments like real-estate in highly inflationary times. In Texas, housing prices have jumped dramatically as the Fed continues printing its way out of the pandemic. LABS states that they are “making this highly lucrative asset class available to investors of any size all over the world. LABS is an end-to-end tokenization and fractionalization platform for real estate, making it easy for asset owners and speculators to create, buy, sell, and trade tokens backed by physical real estate. LABS also offers a regulated securities exchange, crowdfunding opportunities, and the ability to leverage real estate tokens for loans in an intuitive and inexpensive manner.”

Blockchain Real Estate Made Easy

The goal of this partnership is to make it easy for investors to take advantage of this asset class with investments of as little as $100USD.  The partnership allows both parties to share and innovate functionalities that were previously inaccessible, but now available through the tokenized Real Estate NFTs.

Labs was launched in 2019 and their stated mission is to allow the following through their token:

The LABS Platform and ecosystem is designed to help reward and drive utility through crowdfunding.
