Mubert held its first Generative Music Competition Open Call in August, where artists submitted their sample packs to Mubert AI Studio and competed for a chance to win a full-page color ad layout in The Wire magazine’s November edition. At the same time, the top-five artists were offered the opportunity to release NFTs as a collaborative collection. The winners were chosen by a panel of judges: Shane Woolman, Jay Glass Dubs, and Simon Ballard.
This is the first AI-powered artists’ collaboration. Mubert’s collection has 50 fixed-price NFTs of art pieces and soundtracks . Mubert strived to create an outstanding contest and collaborate with the musicians who were eager to experiment with Mubert Render. For the prizes, the company chose non-fungible tokens in order to provide a possibility to artists to promote their works, earn revenue and utilize these tools.

Why is that price fair?
This price is more than fair because we didn’t want to devaluate artists’ contributions. We decided that or it would be sold for this average price or it would be not sold at all. More than that we even think that artists should get even more.

The main thing is that all tracks were generated with the help of Mubert but not only created by artists.
