Fan Futures is a project that will leverage NFT and blockchain technology to provide new experiences – both virtually and in the real world – to sports fans everywhere.
Fan Futures will offer sports fans (starting with football) access to exciting draws and prizes, while also being a part of a community which allows them to connect with other fans like themselves. Holders of tokens will not only own a distinct piece of fan art, but also access to weekly contests and prizes that include (but are not limited to) jerseys, signed memorabilia, and even tickets and trips to see their favorite teams play live.

How did you come up with the idea for this project?
We have long been a part of the NFT and crypto communities, but we’ve been sports fans even longer. As we looked at many of the projects launching today, we thought that perhaps what was missing was something that truly blends experiences both on- and off-line, and more importantly creates new communities across shared interests that can last long after launch.
We believed that sports fans were individuals with unparalleled passion for their interests, and would be a great place to start to build a long lasting NFT community. With that, Fan Futures was born!
We believe what’s unique in our project is the very tangible real-world utility you can receive. We are giving away up to 5 Super Bowl packages worth up to $50,000 each, along with over 550 jerseys, and other real-world prizes. We are being incredibly transparent upfront about what we want to deliver, and how token holders can receive not just intrinsic value for the unique fan art they’ll receive, but real products, with clear market values that they can use or trade/sell.
How Big is the team and what are their roles?
Our team is currently 7-wide:
- Ron: Ron is a founder of Fan Futures, and in charge of development and execution. A longstanding member of the NFT community, he is in charge of the overall vision of the project, and executing the technical and logistical aspects of the project around prizes, art, etc.
SuperFan Jay: SuperFan is in charge of marketing and communications. Having worked in sports, both in the US and in Europe, he will try to engage sports fans who might be interested in joining a community of likeminded individuals. SuperFan is also the moderator for our discord community. - Artist Team: We have 4 world-class artists, each with their own unique style, who develop the team fan art we’ve been releasing. Each artist will develop fan art for 1 team in each division. We’ll be releasing more info about our artists soon!
- Developer: We have a contract developer who has vast experience in NFTs who will help ensure the launch and minting process goes off without a hitch.
Beyond the core team, we also have support from IP lawyers, and other members of the sports community who are advisors and invested in making Fan Futures a success!
What is the price?
Tokens can be minted for 0.1 ETH per token.
Why is that price fair?
We believe the price is very fair given the breadth of prizes available. There are over $400,000 in prizes available, some of which will be given away on a weekly basis. Even a single prize (which even a single token holder has almost a 20% chance of winning) will offset the initial cost of the token, not including the inherent value that will come from the tradability of the token and its art.
What is the Mint Size?
There will be a total of 3,200 tokens (100 per team).
Are there any mechanics we should know about?
One thing we wanted people to be aware about is that they shouldn’t be concerned about how they might be able to “realize” the value of the prizes should they win one, but not be able to use them (e.g., if they win tickets to a game but cannot attend). Prizes will be issued as redeemable NFT tokens, which can then easily be traded/sold for cash or something else the token holder might value instead!
We recognize that the most popular NFTs in the space right now are PFPs. But we worry that as that space becomes more saturated, people will become dubious of the intrinsic value of these pieces. Fan Futures is unique in that not only will there be great art and intrinsic value associated with that, but very tangible utility and value that can be monetized easily by token holders.
