Looks Rare a new NFT Marketplace (With a Token Airdrop)

With all the frustration around OpenSea, it was only a matter of time before a new competitor would enter the fray.  LooksRare followed the footsteps of other token drops to steal massive attention away from OpenSea by releasing their $LOOKs token based on how much money you’ve spent on ETH transactions.  To find out how much Looks you will receive, please check this table.

We’ve set 9 different tiers for the airdrop. Each eligible wallet will be able to claim an amount of LOOKS corresponding to their total trading volume in ETH.

Claim your LOOKS Tokens

The volume calculation for each user includes both buy and sell trades made in ETH, WETH, USDC, DAI, SAND, GALA and MANA over that 6-month period. The final volume calculation has been denominated in ETH: any volume from sales settled in other tokens has been converted to ETH based on the ETH/*Token* ratio at the time of the trade.

Tier ETH Volume in time period LOOKS Tokens Per Wallet Total Tokens in Tier
1 >=1000 10,000 4,520,000

And here is a step by step process to claim your LOOKS

Head to https://looksrare.org during the airdrop period detailed above.

If you’re not eligible, but you think you should be, make sure you’ve connected to the right wallet, and check again to make sure you’ve met all the above criteria precisely. Sorry – we can’t add or remove anyone at this point.

The mechanic is incredibly interesting. if the platform is successful stakers will receive massive upside as the project claims to distribute 100% of trading fees back to to LOOKS token holders.

How To use LooksRare

First you have to use WETH, not ETH. WETH is an erc-20 token that allows collectors more flexibility and lower transaction costs in many instances than ETH.
