Series 2 NFT Collection with 15 new characters introduced into the VeeFriends universe
VeeFriends Series 2 is the next step in the evolution of the VeeFriends NFT project; the collection consists of 55,555 tokens.
[April 18th, 2022] New York, New York – Gary Vaynerchuk (aka GaryVee), serial entrepreneur, and CEO/Creator of VeeFriends, reveals VeeFriends Series 2 launch. VeeFriends NFT project brought Gary Vaynerchuk’s ambitions of building intellectual property in perpetuity using his creative and business passions while utilizing NFT technology and its smart contract capabilities. VeeFriends Series 2 is the next step in the evolution of the VeeFriends NFT project; the collection will have 55,555 tokens.
VeeFriends was developed around characters, all of which Gary imagined, created, and drew himself, that have traits that Gary admires and believes will lead to happiness and success. There is a unique story behind each VeeFriends character; with Series 2, Gary´s original hand-drawn characters are re-imagined and taken to the next level by creating 3-D characters, new backgrounds, and a fine collection of poses.
VeeFriends Series 2 aims to continue to add value to Series 1 holders as a primary goal and open up the opportunity for new people to be part of the community. Series 2 will consist of 251 characters, including 236 characters from Series 1 and 15 new characters officially introduced to the VeeFriends universe. There will be no reveal of the artwork of the characters until the public mint ends. The mint price will be $995 (in ETH), pegged to the price of Ethereum on the day before the launch.
The launch will take place over 4 minting periods:

- Series 1 Free Claim (10,255 Supply) | Date: 4/18/22
- Public Mint (10,000 Supply) | Date: 4/25/22
- 15 New Characters (3,300 Supply) | Date: 4/27/22

The NFT tokens will be released and are available for purchase on VeeFriends.com. Consumers can purchase them using ETH (Ethereum) through a non-custodial digital wallet of their choice via dutch auction. VeeFriends will be accepting payments from MetaMask, Portis, and WalletConnect compatible wallets. The public mint will have a total supply of 10,000 and will be on April 25th.
Gary Vaynerchuk and VeeFriends will be pledging a portion of funds from token royalties to various charities that Gary supports. In addition, to offset the environmental impact, VeeFriends will be making contributions towards DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations) to benefit renewable energy (such as solar, wind etc), carbon offsets, and support ETH 2.0 Proof of Stake (PoS) development which is more energy efficient.
