CREATORS OF THE BATTLE BUNNIES NFT ANNOUNCE NEXT RELEASE FOLLOWING SELLOUT OF GENESIS COLLECTION

With a focus on community and long-term benefits, the next series of 5,000 NFTs will be available to mint in spring 2022.

MIAMI, FL – April 19, 2022 – As the team behind The Battle Bunnies gears up for the next release in its ongoing series of collectible non-fungible tokens (NFTs), one thing is clear: this project represents a new approach to NFTs.

What started as an organic community built on the foundation of creator Frank La Natra’s experience as a world-renowned artist, The Battle Bunnies has grown into a loyal following with engaged collectors and members around the world. And despite several NFT project experts advising the team to appeal to fans’ “fear of missing out” (aka FOMO), The Battle Bunnies devoted efforts to building a community their own way.

The project’s first collection, Genesis 300, sold out within three days of launching on March 26, 2022. NFTs from the collection are now only available on OpenSea, a digital marketplace for buying and selling NFTs.

Preparations for the next collection are currently underway, with a projected release of late spring 2022, founders announced on the project’s Discord server this week.

The release will feature 5,000 unique, hand-drawn Battle Bunny NFTs, with proof of ownership as an ERC-721 token on the Ethereum blockchain.

“The first collection selling out proves that you can build something truly great without taking away the value of the community,” said artist and founder Frank La Natra. “And we really do take the time here to get to know people individually – anyone can chat with us in Discord and we love to be part of it. You don’t get to have that same energy in huge projects.”

A key differentiator and critical to the success of the first launch is the project’s commitment to its members. From a community-driven DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) and fan-written backstories for every NFT, to the camaraderie of Bunny classes in Discord, the community is a key part of The Battle Bunnies

“We’re excited to be part of the NFT ecosystem, but our commitment to the community we’ve built is number one,” said Jon Briggs, owner of Food Fight Studios and one of the founding members of the project.

In a partnership with Emmy-award winning creative studio Food Fight Studios, The Battle Bunnies team is prioritizing transparency, quality, and authenticity as it prepares for the spring release. These core values are evident in the community.

“This idea of selling out without ‘selling out’ isn’t just wordplay – it’s actually the values we stand by. Staying true to who we are, making something real and meaningful people can get behind, and growing in a way that doesn’t sell out our community or ourselves.”

Noteworthy to the collection, and as part of the engineering of the advanced technological component of NFT ownership, collectors are granted a level of creative engagement yet to be seen in other NFT projects, including:
