CREATIVE EGGZ NFT Project Interview

As part of our relationship with the King of midtown and the Crypt Gallery, we are honored to highlight artists that are featured in the Crypt Galleries around the world.  This group of artists have formed a collective called Creative Eggz.

Can you tell us about your background and what lead you down the path to becoming an artist and ultimately experimenting with NFTs?

Our community members come from different backgrounds and live in different parts of the world. Artists from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Tatarstan and Kazakhstan.

All of us are united by the fact that we came to the NTF together, from different worlds, and together began to learn the world of NTF 10 months ago.

Ellada has a master’s degree in economics and before NFT she worked in a bank for several years, leaving creativity only as a hobby and at some point her life was turned upside down, when creativity took over her life and she quit the bank. In addition to drawing, she enjoys chess, singing, writing poetry and fascinating stories. This last point helps her a lot in creating stories for her art in nft. Storytelling is an integral part of her art. She creates entire worlds and universes, breathing life into her art.
Together with members of her community, she runs various Spaces and together they help newcomers get accustomed to their channel and a special chat room for artists.

Marina was a traditional oil painter before NFT, she always connected her life with art, including music, she owns musical instruments and sings with her young but already talented daughter on Community Spaces.
Marina came to NFT a little earlier than the other guys, in the spring of 2021 and later, having met these guys so close to them that together with the guys they created a community, which is already 10 months old.

Maria Leontieva is a graphic designer and illustrator who writes useful videos about NFT on YouTube. Maria is also seriously interested in astrology and numerology, surprising her friends with her sometimes accurate predictions.
A successful girl with many different talents that she uses, including nft.

Maria Calyptra is an illustrator and a former professional dancer. Now most of her life is devoted to art. She works tirelessly and improves every day, not sparing herself to create art, trying new styles and techniques. She is also the co-host of our community’s regular Spaces.

Nadine Samarina was a very successful fashion illustrator before she came to nft. She had many contracts with magazines, famous brands and companies, but at some point, like the guys, she wanted to create what she loved, not what the clients wanted. Nadine learns her inner world through her art, her light and dark sides, her emotions. Her art is a complete reflection of her inner world. Along with members of the community, Nadine is also a regular Space co-host.

Tanya was a stylist and designer when she first came to NFT space. She painted interior paintings, and now she successfully tries her hand at digital art and as a model for photo shoots.
Tanya also has her own interview project, where she invites interesting people and communicates with them. This talent also helped Tanya in NFT, she is an excellent presenter of various Spaces, including Spaces community.

When did you mint your first NFT? What platform did you choose and why?

Almost all of us minted our first NFT in November, on the Faundation.
This platform seemed to us to be the most popular and it didn’t scare us that we were just newbies.
Yes, we’re all insane people, rushing into this space and most of us had our first sale very quickly.

How did you hear about The Crypt Gallery?

Many of us first heard about you on Twitter and have heard many compliments from collectors and friends

Why do you think IRL is so important in the space?

Places like this are like a sign and a huge web3 object in the normal web2 world. Like a connection of the past, the present and the future. A sign that web3 has entered our real life and a new world with infinite possibilities lies ahead of us. Can you imagine that before, art by an artist from the other side of the planet could so easily end up in a gallery in New York.
It would have taken months, maybe more. And now, in a matter of days, you can show your art anywhere in the world.

Can you tell us one thing you cannot live without? (and why)

None of us can live without art. That’s what any member of our community will tell you with certainty. Without art and freedom, an artist’s life becomes something gray, dull, shapeless and just destroys you. Art is what can sometimes save you from the problems and misfortunes of the real world. The power of art is more than you can imagine and yes, it’s what gives us the incentive and motivation to move on.

Who is your favorite artist(s) (Non NFT)? What about their style resonates with you

We like many artists and almost none of us would single out just one artist. In the diversity of styles and forms of art, sometimes you find so many amazing people. And they are all so different that it’s hard to single out just one. We love art in all its forms.

Who is your favorite NFT artist? What makes this artist unique?

We like many artists and almost none of us would single out just one artist. In the diversity of styles and forms of art, sometimes you find so many amazing people. And they are all so different that it’s hard to single out just one. We love art in all its forms.

What made you pursue NFT art?

For most it was curiosity and interest, we understood that this is something new, progressive and promising and we definitely need to get into this world. And the reality turned out to be much more interesting than we expected.

What is the one NFT you wish you had purchased but missed out on

Oh, we didn’t make it, we couldn’t make it. It happens a lot. Some of us collecting art already, but sometimes you see a masterpiece that you can’t afford, but just as often it happens that you don’t have time.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go? Why this location?

The answers could be many, but we all dream of one thing, to fly away and settle down on an island. When we first met, we joked that we would buy ourselves an island and live there and have fun. Well, maybe it wasn’t just a joke.

What are your other passions besides art? Why?

How did you come up with your specific style?

We still haven’t stopped. Each of us finds something new and tries something new every time. We are improving and learning as we breathe. Our style may change, but it will always have the same soul

What is coming in the near future?

We have a lot of plans and projects, including collaborative projects. I think you will be able to see it very soon with your own eyes. It takes time
